What is the taxation applicable to REIT investors?
Individuals are exempt from Income Tax on the income distributed by the funds. There is an Income Tax rate of 20% on earnings obtained from legal entities. In the sale of shares on the secondary market, both individuals and legal entities are subject to a 20% Income Tax on capital gains.
What types of assets can each Real Estate Fund invest in?
CRIs Funds can invest in real estate fixed-income assets, such as financing operations, for example. Brick Funds can invest in physical properties, such as commercial buildings, logistic warehouses, residential complexes, and the like. Multistrategy Funds combine the strategies of CRIs and Brick Funds, investing in both real estate income securities and physical properties.
